Street Workout Place offers a «Mommy Workout», a recovery training for mothers whose last birth took place 2 to 12 months ago. If you feel like getting your body back into shape in a special environment, you've come to the right place.
The birth is a very special experience, together with pregnancy but also highly intensive for the female body. This makes it all the more important to give the body time to regenerate in the first 6 weeks after birth.
After this first phase of rest , relaxation and family time, it is recommended to do professional regression gymnastics to build the pelvic floor, abdomen and back. Gradually, more and more whole-body exercises are being integrated into the training with the aim of preparing the body in the best possible way for starting a "normal" sports programme.
Our Mommy Workout is an effective toatl body workout and includes specific exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor. The cource takes place every Tuesday from 17:30 to 18:30 in the Street Workout Place. Patricia - a mother of two and a trained rehabilitation trainer herself - will be in charge of the rehabilitation gymnastics.
Here is an overview of the 10 dates of the current implementation:
- Sep 2020: 15. / 22. / 29.
- Oct 2020: 06. / 13. / 20. / 27.
- Nov 2020: 03. / 10. / 17.
The cost is 300 CHF for all 10 lessons including documentation for training at home. Some health insurance companies also contribute to the costs.
